Act 26

Yesterday I had to type my senior thesis and I realized that my printer was broken.  It took me forever to write my paper and I needed to have it printed out for today and have everything put together.  I was exhausted and really was not in the mood to deal with my printer issue, but I had to do it.  I called up my friend Austin Zelasko who lives down the street and asked him if I could use his printer.  He said yes, so I emailed my senior thesis paper to his mother's email and drove down to his house.  When I got there we fired up his computer, he logged on to his mother's email and we printed it out.  It was a very nice act of kindness and I appreciate it greatly.  I know that I will do something nice for him in return because that is what friends do.

Act 25

Earlier today, I had a dodge ball game to play in and we were the favorites to win the game.  We had to play a best of three game series  to see who would move on to the championship rounds where they play the other classes.  We played pretty well and in both games we ended up getting everyone out except the girls.  I was still in the game and I am a pretty nice guy, so I was not going to chuck the dodge ball as hard as I could at a girl.  I ended up getting both of the girls out in the one game and only one of the girls out in the second game.  I am sure they appreciated me not whipping the balls at them, seeing that they probably did not want to play dodge ball anyway.  I had a fun time playing dodge ball and I am looking forward to the finals.

Act 24

Last night, I had people over the Sabres game.  I decided to do this after our baseball practice.  I asked a select few of friends to accompany me at my house.  We ordered pizza from Picasso's.  We also ordered fried dough and chicken wings.  We had a grand old time playing ping pong and watching the Sabres game.  The Sabres lost 4-3, but that did not stop us from having fun.  Later on, we played on the Play Station 3.  We played NBA 2k13 for a little while.  I let each one of my friends sleep over if they wanted to and then we went to school in the morning.  They all had a great time and thanked me for letting them come over.  I had a total of seven friends over, but only four slept over.  I plan on having friends over in the future because everything was enjoyable.

Act 23

My family went on a vacation without me.  They went to Florida and left me home alone for a week.  I decided to have a couple friends over at my house to watch the Sabres Game.  I invited four guys over and we were all hungry.  I came up with the idea to get some pizza and we did.   I called Carbone’s Pizzeria and we ordered a large pizza and a double order of wings.  I drove to Carbone’s to pick it up and took it back to my house for everyone to eat.  We had a lot of fun eating pizza and watching the Sabres game.  We even dabbled in a little ping pong and played for a little while.  It was because of me why they had a great time and they appreciated it.  Maybe I will have them over again so we can have a great time.

Act 22

My parents and other family members are away in Florida and I am stuck alone in my house.   They told me not to throw a party in their absence.  It has been very tempting to have a party in a nice house while your parents are gone, but I did not do it.  I know that they will never leave me alone in the house again if I threw a party while they were gone.  They do not have to worry about me because I am responsible and I know what is right.  I did have friends over to watch the Sabres game a couple times, but nothing outrageous.  My act of kindness was not throwing a party in the absence of my family.  I am sure that they will appreciate it when they get home and realize that nothing is broken and my step father’s beer has not been taken.

Act 21

Last Friday, I went on a field trip with my Online Publishing class.  We went Canisius College for a journalism workshop.  We had lunch there and were there from 9 am to 1 pm.  We had a lot of fun and on the bus ride home we decided we wanted to get ice cream sundaes.  I had some extra money on me and I decided that I would like a hot fudge sundae.  My friends really wanted hot fudge sundaes as well and they did not have any money.  They asked me to lend them a dollar so they can have a sundae and I said yes.  Like I said, I had some extra money and I did not really care to give it away.  Everyone needs a sundae every now and then.  When they got the sundae neither of them thanked me and it was kind of depressing.  They owe me a dollar now because they didn’t thank me.

Act 20

After a long night at work, I received a text message.  The text message was from my sister.  My sister and I have been on bad terms and we would argue a lot.  I felt that needed to change a little bit.  She texted me and asked me if I could stop at Tim Horton's on the way home from work and grab her an ice cappuccino.  At first, I thought to my self no way, but then I thought that maybe she will do something nice for me in the future.  On my way home I did end up getting her an ice cap.  When I gave it to her, she thanked me.  She has yet to do anything nice for me and I am beginning to regret my decision, but you never know.  She might step up to the plate and surprise me.  It is very doubtful though.
